Each order you place is a legally enforceable contract. If you fail to pickup your order, you are still obligated to pay for the items you order.
We will inspect and pack all orders prior to distribution. In the event that product gets damaged during packing, we will provide a store credit to the customer, provided that the damaged goods are returned.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality produce, and we require our producer to deliver market-grade products. The customer understands that since our farmers do not use pesticides or herbicides, fruits and vegetables may not look “perfect”.
Buyer acknowledges and agrees that CF2T is a food hub and as such it provides its services solely as an intermediary between Buyer and Seller, and does not take nor acquire title at any time to any products bought and sold under any transactions between Buyer and Seller.
All purchases require electronic payment upon order unless other arrangements for invoicing have been made. Invoices not paid within 30-days are subject to a 2% interest charge (compounding for each subsequent 30-day period late).
If a check tendered for payment is not honored by the bank for nonsufficient funds (NSF), it will not be redeposited. If the bank does not clear your check, you will incur a fee of $35. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express transactions that are not approved or declined will also be subject to a $35 handling fee. You must immediately send a certified check or money order for the amount due, including the NSF fee, to Chesapeake Farm to Table to cover returned check or credit card transaction. Postdated checks are not an acceptable form of payment. Please call immediately to arrange payment.
